Stand UP For Family!!

I know that I have SOME blog readers who are younger than I am...but I also have some that are around my age...do you remember those GREAT times you had as a kid...when you'd leave the house in the morning and stay outside ALL DAY long...and only head home when you thought it must be getting time for dinner?? We used to play "Kick the Can" for hours on end. Or, we'd hike into the woods and just explore....stuff...nothing in particular...build a tree fort! That WAS the entertainment of the day folks. At least growing up in the midwest...we had plenty to do...we had IMAGINATION. I think that is missing from today's world. They just will NOT know what to do with themselves.

I think part of the American Family is falling apart. This is just my opinion, but I would be willing to bet that there are others out there who agree with me. We used to have dinner together as a family every single night. At the very same kitchen table. Nowadays...that doesn't happen so much!!
