For the past year Walgreens has been negotiating with Express Scripts for a new contract to continue as part of its pharmacy provider network. The contract expired at the end of December 2011 because the negotiations were unsuccessful. Walgreens is doing all they can to assist customers with this transition. One of the steps Walgreens is taking to minimize the disruption is to offer a special discount on annual membership for its Prescription Savings Club. An individual can join during this JANUARY PROMOTION for only $5.00 and a family can join for $10.00 and save on more than 8,000 brand name and all generic medications. The regular annual membership is $20 for an individual and $35.00 for a family.

Need Help with your Dog Walks??

We have all been there!!! Some people say that dogs tie them down. It is difficult sometimes to make plans around when your furry friend might have to go OUT and you won't be around to help!!

Stand UP For Family!!

I know that I have SOME blog readers who are younger than I am...but I also have some that are around my age...do you remember those GREAT times you had as a kid...when you'd leave the house in the morning and stay outside ALL DAY long...and only head home when you thought it must be getting time for dinner?? We used to play "Kick the Can" for hours on end. Or, we'd hike into the woods and just explore....stuff...nothing in particular...build a tree fort! There were times we'd get a regular mayo jar out of the cupboard and poke holes in the lid...catch lightning bugs!
That WAS the entertainment of the day folks. At least growing up in the midwest...we had plenty to do...we had IMAGINATION. I think that is missing from today's world. The kids today have absolutely no idea how to amuse themselves without their video games. Just try taking the cell phone away from a teenager. They will scream! They just will NOT know what to do with themselves.
I think part of the American Family is falling apart. This is just my opinion, but I would be willing to bet that there are others out there who agree with me.
